How Can I Cancel my Grammar Coach Subscription?

We would hate to see you go, but we do understand that sometimes circumstances change.

What Does Canceling My Subscription Mean?

Cancelling your subscription is not a refund.

Grammar Coach subscriptions are not refundable. But after canceling your subscription, you will retain access to the Premium services through the end of your current term. When canceled, your subscription will stop at the end of the current term, and the Premium features will switch off when your current subscription ends. Once canceled, you will not be automatically billed for future periods.

How Do I Cancel My Subscription?

If you do need to cancel your Grammar Coach Subscription, you can do so on our website (not in our mobile apps) through your Dictionary.com account's Subscription tab. Here are some simple steps:

1. 1. Sign-in to your GrammarCoach.com account
   2. Tap on the menu icon (three horizontal bars icon, on the top-left corner of your Grammar Coach screen)
   3. Choose 'Settings' from the menu
   4. Then select ‘Subscriptions’ from the side menu
   5. Arrive at your subscriptions screen, and locate the Grammar Coach Subscription you'd like to cancel
   6. Tap on 'Cancel Subscription' (in red)
   7. A screen will display outlining Grammar Coach, you need to confirm you'd like to continue to cancel by clicking the red 'Continue to Cancel' – found at the bottom of that screen
   8. If you continued, you'll see the "Cancel Grammar Coach Subscription" screen prompt you for a reason for the cancellation. Fill out the reason. Then, tap the final 'Continue to Cancel' button
   9. Your subscription will then be cancelled and you'll see an on-screen confirmation of that fact.

You'll be taken back to the Subscription tab where you'll see the Subscription box details have been updated to reflect the status of 'Deactivated.' You'll also see the last invoice date. After the final invoice date passes, your subscription will be listed as 'Inactive' or 'Expired.'

Remember, you'll continue to have access to your premium features until the end of the present pay-period that you already purchased.
