What specific sites can I log into using this account?
Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com, and GrammarCoach.com share this common login and account system!
But there are a few important things to note:
- From the time these accounts launched in August 2020-April 2022, accounts existed only on the Dictionary.com andThesaurus.com websites. They did not exist in our mobile apps.
- Our iOS and Android mobile apps did not have logins for a Dictionary accounts until April 2022- in the version 10.0.0 release (and later versions)
- No accounts existed in the app prior to this time and you did not use an account in the app itself.
- All purchases in the mobile apps take place in the App or Play Store, and you'll need to use your App or Play Store logins, not your Dictionary.com logins.
- Your Dictionary.com account is different than the account you use to log in to our Help Center. Logging into the Dictionary.com account will not log you into the Help Center, and vice versa. These have unique logins and will require you to login, separately.
- If you choose to create an account after the 10.0.0 release:
- do note that this will still not be associated with any purchases. Those will continue to only be linked to your app/play store account under-which you purchased them.
- these dictionary.com accounts will allow you to manage your word lists across devices
- Our separate, stand-alone iPad apps do not have accounts.
Note:
- This is a new account system, launched August 2020. If you had an account from 4-5+ years ago, you won't be able to log into this new account system using your old login information. Instead, please create a new account, following the above instructions.
