Are you using our older stand-alone iPad apps?
Unfortunately, the offline dictionary is not an available upgrade for our stand-alone iPad apps. It has not been, and is not now, available as an in-app purchase in our free ipad app, nor as part of the premium app.
But if you'd like to use an app with an offline dictionary functionality, the best solution would be to download our newer universal iPhone/iPad app:

- Offline Dictionary comes included when you purchase this app from the app store.
It is important to note that app purchases do not work across or between our apps. So you do need to ensure you've made a purchase of our offline dictionary within the Universal app for it to function there (either buy the Pro universal app OR buy the offline dictionary upgrade in the free app).
